“It’s the Coach’s Fault”

Growing up…!
It’s the coach’s fault is a book about a journey.
Mine did not begin under the best of circumstances.
The neighborhoods that I lived in as a boy, probably don’t rank very high on the social scale.
I’m not complaining, those are just the cards that I was dealt.

In line with those circumstances, I spent some time at the youth study center in Philadelphia, and then at Saint Michael’s School for Boys.
I “lived” in the “Badlands” of Philadelphia, but I “grew up” at Saint Michael’s.

It’s not an exaggeration to say that, when I left there, I had a different outlook on life.

I was determined to take a different path.
I think it’s safe to say that, a lot had to happen in order to go from those beginnings to the list of “Who’s WHo in America”.
